King Room boasts impressive décor and ample space, making it a comfortable retreat. The view from the room offered a nice snapshot of the surrounding area, adding charm to the stay.
While the ambiance was appealing, the bedding setup could use some variety. having four identical, hard pillows isn't ideal. Upon returning on the third day, our room was inexplicably unserviced, which dampened the mood—thankfully, a quick ask led to tidy-up assistance. Dining fell disappointingly flat. the fish and chips resembled something from a frozen pack and the bacon at breakfast had a reheated feel, reminiscent of shoe leather. these little setbacks kept the experience from hitting the high notes it could have.

A couple's luxurious escape
The staff were superb, especially the reception lady who went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The view from my room was stunning, perfect for a writer like me, and I’ll never forget how the dining staff made breakfast feel special, a real highlight of the stay.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I consider it acceptable for the experience we had.

We loved relaxing in the thermal spa at 6pm with no one else around, and the live piano in the dining room made our dinner feel special. The sauna and steam room were perfect for unwinding after a long day. The only hiccup was our drink order taking longer than expected, but it didn’t ruin our stay. 🍹
